Role Summary The Senior Staff - Batching Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring the batching and raw material dosing process in the AAC Blocks manufacturing plant. The role will ensure accurate weighing and dosing of raw materials, maintain batch consistency, monitor process parameters, and support smooth and uninterrupted production as per defined quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the batching system for AAC Blocks production.
- Ensure accurate weighing and dosing of cement, lime, gypsum, fly ash/sand, water, and aluminium powder as per approved batch recipes.
- Monitor batching sequence, material flow, mixing time, and critical process parameters.
- Ensure correct batch recipes are followed as per production and quality requirements.
- Monitor raw material availability and ensure uninterrupted batching operations.
- Identify and report abnormalities in batching, weighing, feeding, and mixing systems.
- Ensure consistency in batch composition and raw material proportions.
- Coordinate with the Quality team for process checks and corrective actions.
- Monitor weighing systems, conveyors, feeders, pumps, mixers, and other batching equipment.
- Identify operational issues and coordinate with the Maintenance team for timely resolution.
- Minimize material wastage and equipment downtime.
- Maintain batch records, production logs, and shift-wise operational data.
- Ensure proper shift handover and communicate process-related information.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Raw Material teams for smooth operations.




- Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of batching activities.
- Follow all plant safety procedures and standard operating practices.
- Ensure safe handling of raw materials and maintain proper housekeeping in the batching area.

Required Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related technical discipline.
- Candidates with relevant plant experience and technical knowledge may also be considered.

Experience & Industry Background

- 2-5 years of experience in batching operations, preferably in AAC Blocks, concrete, RMC, precast, cement, or other building material manufacturing plants.
- Hands-on experience in operating automated or semi-automated batching and weighing systems will be preferred.
- Experience in shift-based manufacturing operations will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

- Valuable understanding of batching, weighing, dosing, and mixing processes.
- Basic knowledge of AAC Blocks manufacturing and raw material requirements.
- Ability to accurately follow batch recipes and process instructions.
- Basic troubleshooting and equipment-monitoring skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to read and maintain production and batch records.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, accuracy, and productivity.
- Ability to work effectively in a shift-based plant environment.
- Responsible, disciplined, and attentive to process parameters.
