Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior SQL Server Developer / SQL Technical Lead with 18+ years of overall experience and at least 10+ years of strong hands-on SQL development experience . The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, database design, performance tuning, and SQL troubleshooting .

Experience in the US Healthcare Payer domain is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers .
- Design and optimize database tables, schemas, indexes, and database objects .
- Perform SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and SQL profiling .
- Analyze and fine-tune existing stored procedures and SQL queries to improve application performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database, data, and application-related issues .
- Work closely with application/front-end developers to deliver database modules end-to-end.
- Develop SQL-based reports and data queries based on business requirements.
- Analyze existing database solutions and recommend system, schema, and performance improvements .
- Understand and integrate third-party APIs with database/application solutions.
- Prepare mapping and technical documentation for existing stored procedures and database processes.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable SQL/database solutions.




- Lead requirement-gathering sessions and participate in technical and design discussions.
- Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and peer reviews .
- Ensure SQL development follows best practices for performance, scalability, maintainability, and reusability .
- Implement database changes, upgrades, and modifications based on business requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve application and business-process efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on database architecture, application development, and technical solutions .

Candidates should demonstrate substantial recent experience developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server databases and T-SQL applications .
