Education : B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in CS, ECE, EEE, Aerospace, Embedded Systems or related fields.

Key Responsibilities :

1.

Requirements Engineering :

- Elicit, analyze, document, and manage software requirements.
- Derive low-level requirements and ensure compliance with DO-178C.
- Maintain bidirectional traceability using tools like Reqtify, DOORS, Polarion.

2.

Software Development :

- Participate in end-to-end SDLC : planning, analysis, design, coding, integration, V&V;, and certification support.
- Develop embedded software using C/C for real-time systems.
- Conduct peer reviews of requirements, design, code, and tests.

3. Verification & Validation :

- Develop and execute unit, integration, and system test cases.
- Perform structural coverage analysis (Statement, Decision, MC/DC as applicable).
- Support anomaly tracking, investigation, and resolution.

4. DO-178C Compliance :

- Contribute to certification artifacts such as PSAC, SDP, SVP, SCMP, SQAP, SAS, SCI.
- Ensure compliance with DO-178C objectives for DAL A/B/C/D.
- Participate in audits, certification reviews, and compliance activities.

Configuration & Quality Management :

- Support configuration management and maintain lifecycle data.
- Follow organizational quality processes and standards.

Required Qualifications &

Skills :

- Robust understanding of DO-178C and safety-critical software development.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC processes.
- Experience in software requirements elicitation, analysis, decomposition, and management.
- Hands-on experience with Embedded C/C .
- Understanding of RTOS concepts.
- Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies.
- Experience in software testing and verification techniques.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git/SVN.

Preferred Skills :

- Aerospace Standards : DO-178C, ARP4754A, DO-330
- Tools : Reqtify, LDRA, SVN, DOORS
- Communication Protocols : ARINC 429, CAN, RS-422, Ethernet
