Role Description The Software Engineer Trainee is a full-time on-site role based in Kanpur Nagar. The trainee will assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications under the guidance of senior engineers.

Day-to-day responsibilities include learning and applying programming concepts, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation. The role also involves collaborating with team members on project tasks, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the implementation of secure and scalable solutions.



The trainee is expected to actively engage in continuous learning to grow into a productive software engineer within the organization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational programming skills (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or similar languages) and an understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of software development practices, including version control systems (such as Git) and familiarity with debugging and testing techniques.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of databases and SQL, along with exposure to web or application development frameworks.
- Candidates should possess awareness of cybersecurity principles and an interest in building secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail in technical work.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills, the ability to collaborate in a team environment, and a willingness to learn from feedback.
- A bachelor’s degree (completed or in final year) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), basic networking concepts, and prior internship or project experience will be considered an advantage.
