About the RoleWe are looking for a Social Media Manager who understands content, trends and digital storytelling and can take ownership of CreativeED's social media presence from strategy to execution.

You will be responsible for developing content ideas, planning and managing shoots, coordinating with the creative/editorial team, getting content from people across the organisation and ensuring that content is consistently produced, edited, approved and published.

What You'll Do

- Develop and execute social media and content strategies
- Plan monthly/weekly content calendars
- Write and coordinate scripts for Reels, short-form videos and social content
- Identify and track social media trends, formats, sounds and content opportunities
- Proactively capture and collect content from the team, schools, events and day-to-day activities
- Coordinate and manage content shoots
- Talk to students, teachers, team members and other stakeholders to identify and capture interesting stories/content
- Coordinate closely with videographers, cinematographers and video editors
- Brief editors clearly and ensure content is delivered on time
- Review drafts and coordinate revisions
- Schedule and publish content across relevant social platforms
- Maintain consistency in CreativeED's brand voice and visual identity
- Monitor social media performance and prepare regular social media reports
- Track reach, engagement, views, retention and other relevant metrics
- Identify what content is working and use insights to improve future content
- Maintain a strong pipeline of content so the social channels remain active and relevant

What We're Looking For




- 1+ year of experience in social media management/content creation
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form content
- Good knowledge of current social media trends
- Ability to come up with wide-ranging content ideas, not repetitive formats
- Good scripting and storytelling skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work with creatives, editors and videographers
- Comfortable speaking to people and getting them involved in content
- Strong organisational and project-management skills
- Ability to work quickly and manage multiple content pieces simultaneously
- Good understanding of social media analytics and reporting
- Proactive mindset — someone who can spot content opportunities rather than wait for instructions

You should be comfortable getting people on camera, finding stories within the organisation and schools, following trends, working with the production team and making sure every piece of content reaches the final publishing stage.
