Role Description The Senior Video Editor role is a full-time remote position responsible for leading the end-to-end post-production process for a wide range of video projects, including social media content, brand films, promotional videos, and reels. This role involves assembling and editing raw footage, refining narrative flow, applying professional color grading, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements that align with client brand guidelines.

The Senior Video

Editor will collaborate closely with creative directors, designers, and content strategists to translate concepts into polished, high-impact video assets. Daily tasks include organizing project files, managing multiple timelines, ensuring consistency across deliverables, and providing creative input to enhance storytelling and audience engagement. The role also includes mentoring junior editors, maintaining quality standards,



and meeting project deadlines within a fast-paced, remote team workplace.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with the ability to manage the full post-production workflow from concept to final delivery.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, ensuring visual consistency, mood, and brand alignment across diverse projects.
- Experience in Motion Graphics and Graphics, including creating or integrating animated and static visual elements to support storytelling.
- Advanced proficiency with industry-standard editing and graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools).
- Proven experience in a senior or lead video editing role, preferably within a creative agency or content-focused environment.
- Strong storytelling instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret creative briefs and client feedback effectively.
- Excellent time management, organization, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
- A portfolio showcasing a range of video projects, including social media content, brand films, or campaign work.
- Relevant education in Film, Media, Communications, Design, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
