About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Video Editor to own the editing quality and creative standards for NYC.

You will edit high-impact long-form and short-form content while helping establish editing standards and improve the overall creative quality of the content team.

Key Responsibilities

Edit high-quality YouTube, educational, interview and short-form content.

Shape footage through storytelling, pacing, structure and retention, rather than simply assembling clips.

Develop strong sound design, transitions, graphics and visual communication.

Understand audience behaviour and edit content for attention and retention.

Establish editing standards, workflows and quality benchmarks for the team.

Review and guide other editors to maintain consistent output quality.

Work closely with Content Strategists, Producers,



Writers and Creators to strengthen the final content.

Continuously explore new editing techniques and formats to improve content quality.

What We're Looking For

4–6 years of experience in Video Editing, Digital Media or Content Production.

Strong portfolio covering long-form and short-form content.

Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, retention and sound design.

Strong command of professional editing and post-production workflows.

Strong creative judgement to understand what to cut, what to emphasise and how to improve the story.

Good understanding of visual storytelling and audience attention.

Ability to mentor and improve the editing quality of other team members.

Solid attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
