About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with robust expertise in Java, Python, SQL, and GCP/BigQuery to build scalable applications and data solutions. The role combines software development, cloud-native engineering, and data engineering, with a focus on microservices, ETL/ELT pipelines, and GCP services.

The role involves designing and developing applications using Java and Python, building scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines, and developing REST APIs and microservices. You will work extensively with SQL, BigQuery, and cloud-native solutions on GCP.

The position also includes developing automated workflows, data ingestion frameworks, and data processing solutions using services such as Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow. You will collaborate with business, analytics, and data engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

The engineer will also be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, data quality validation, and supporting CI/CD and containerized development practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop applications using Java and Python
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and BigQuery scripts
- Design cloud-native solutions using GCP services
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices
- Build data ingestion and transformation frameworks for BigQuery
- Develop automated workflows using Cloud Functions, Composer/Airflow, and Pub/Sub
- Monitor, troubleshoot,



and optimize applications and data pipelines

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in software and cloud engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Python, SQL, GCP, and BigQuery. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field is required, along with solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
