Role Description The Senior Researcher is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home. The role involves conducting in-depth research on taxation, regulatory compliance, global corporate structuring, and cross-border advisory topics relevant to the firm’s key jurisdictions.

The Senior

Researcher will synthesize complex legal and financial information into clear reports, briefs, and knowledge resources for internal teams and client-facing use. Day-to-day activities include monitoring regulatory changes, analyzing their impact on clients, supporting advisory projects with data-backed insights,



and contributing to thought leadership content. The role will also involve collaborating with partners and consultants to develop research frameworks, maintain knowledge repositories, and ensure that recommendations remain accurate, up-to-date, and strategically aligned with client needs.

Qualifications

- Robust research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret taxation, corporate, and regulatory documents across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in legal, financial, or policy research methods, with experience synthesizing complex information into clear, structured outputs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort with digital tools for data analysis, document management, and collaboration (e.g., spreadsheets, research databases, productivity software).
- Background in finance, law, economics, accounting, public policy, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (CA, CPA, LLB, LLM, CFA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Experience in international taxation, cross-border compliance, or global corporate structuring is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple research assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced advisory environment.
- Prior exposure to sectors such as information technology, startups and venture capital, family offices, or global corporates is a plus.
