We’re building a product where reliability, data integrity, security, and trust are not optional. Our platform handles complex financial workflows, multiple user roles, sensitive data, and increasingly AI-powered experiences.

We’re looking for a QA Engineer who wants to build quality into an AI-native financial product, not simply execute test cases.

The RoleAs a QA Engineer at Brexy, you’ll own quality across the product from customer-facing applications and APIs to internal dashboards and AI-powered workflows.

You’ll work closely with engineering and product to design how we test, automate, monitor, and continuously improve the reliability of the platform.

We use AI extensively in our development process, and we expect QA to do the same. You’ll use AI-assisted test generation, browser automation agents, intelligent failure analysis, and other modern QA tools to move faster while applying human judgment to determine what can be trusted and what needs deeper verification.

This is a hands-on role with significant ownership.

What You'll DoOwn Quality Across the Product

- Define and execute QA strategy across Brexy’s customer application, admin dashboard, APIs, and critical workflows.
- Translate product requirements and user journeys into comprehensive test scenarios.
- Identify high-risk areas and ensure they receive appropriate test coverage.
- Work closely with developers and product teams throughout the development lifecycle not just before release.

Build Automation

- Design, build, and maintain reliable automated E2E test suites.
- Automate critical user journeys and regression scenarios.
- Develop API and integration tests for core services.




- Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed.
- Identify repetitive manual testing that can be eliminated through automation.

Use AI as a QA Force Multiplier

- Use AI to generate test cases from requirements, user stories, and product specifications.
- Experiment with agentic browser automation and AI-powered testing workflows.
- Use AI-assisted tools for failure analysis, debugging, test maintenance, and regression testing.
- Evaluate AI-generated tests and outputs critically rather than accepting them blindly.
- Build practical workflows that demonstrate how AI can make QA faster and more effective.

We care less about whether you have used a specific AI tool and more about whether you know how to use AI intelligently to solve QA problems.

Test Security & Multi-Tenancy

- Test role-based access control across different users, teams, and organizational hierarchies.
- Validate tenant isolation and ensure users can access only the data they are authorized to see.
- Test permission boundaries, authentication flows, and sensitive-data handling.
- Think proactively about how a permission or data-isolation failure could impact a financial customer.

Manual & Exploratory Testing

- Perform exploratory and manual testing where automation cannot provide sufficient coverage.
- Challenge assumptions and actively look for edge cases.
- Test complex workflows, unusual inputs, failure scenarios,



and unexpected user behavior.
- Validate AI-powered features for correctness, consistency, reliability, and unexpected behavior.

Release Quality

- Own regression testing for releases.
- Maintain clear test documentation and coverage.
- Write precise, reproducible bug reports with clear severity and impact.
- Help engineering teams identify root causes and prevent recurring defects.
- Continuously improve Brexy’s overall QA processes and engineering quality standards.

What We're Looking ForMust Have

- 3+ years of QA experience testing modern web applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation.
- Experience building and maintaining automated E2E test suites.
- Strong API testing experience.
- Experience testing applications with complex permissions, user roles, or multi-tenant architectures.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Experience working closely with engineering and product teams.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to think beyond the happy path.
- Excellent written English and the ability to write transparent, precise bug reports and test documentation.
- Practical experience using AI in QA, software testing, automation, or engineering workflows.
