Role Description The Senior Odoo Functional Consultant role is a full-time remote position responsible for leading end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations for multiple clients. Day-to-day activities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring Odoo modules, mapping and optimizing business processes, and preparing functional specifications for the technical team.

The consultant will conduct workshops, user training, and UAT sessions, while providing ongoing functional support and guidance to ensure successful adoption. This role also involves collaborating with stakeholders across departments, advising on best practices, and coordinating with project managers and developers to deliver high-quality, on-time solutions.

Qualifications

- Approximately 4+ years of Odoo functional consulting / implementation experience .
- Strong hands-on Odoo Accounting experience.
- Lead and support end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations .
- Conduct client discovery sessions and requirement workshops.




- Understand existing business processes and recommend improved workflows using Odoo.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents and functional specifications.
- Perform fit-gap analysis.
- Configure Odoo applications based on business requirements.
- Lead functional testing, UAT and go-live preparation.
- Strong analytical skills to assess requirements, interpret data, and design efficient Odoo-based solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate workshops, document processes, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of business processes (Accounting., sales, procurement, inventory, HR, projects) and experience mapping them into Odoo ERP workflows.
- Proven consulting experience, including client-facing work, solution design, and change-management support in ERP or business systems projects.
- Solid finance knowledge, including basic accounting, invoicing, and reporting, to support configuration of Odoo finance-related modules.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (multiple modules preferred) and previous involvement in full-cycle implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field; relevant Odoo or ERP certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.




- Experience with clients in sectors such as logistics, real estate, or professional services is advantageous.

- Manage UAT sessions.
- Document decisions and outstanding actions.
