Role Description The Senior Java Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Java and related frameworks. In this full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, the engineer will work both on-site and remotely, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Day-to-day activities include writing clean and efficient code, building and integrating microservices, troubleshooting and resolving application issues, conducting code reviews, and optimizing system performance. The engineer will participate in architecture discussions,



contribute to technical design documents, and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and agile methodologies. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with product and QA teams, and supporting continuous integration and deployment processes.

Qualifications

- Strong software development skills with experience in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Java and solid programming fundamentals, including object-oriented design and data structures.
- Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC) for building robust backend services.
- Practical knowledge of microservices architecture, including service design, integration, and deployment.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and version control systems (such as Git).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in agile teams, collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and mentor less-experienced engineers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a hybrid work environment.
