About the Role

We are looking for experienced Senior Java Developers with 6–7 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable and high-performance enterprise applications. The candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.

The role requires strong backend development experience along with an understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and modern application development practices. Exposure to React will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain Microservices-based applications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations.
- Develop event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
- Work extensively with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for application data management.
- Develop efficient database queries and optimize application/database performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and development standards.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
- Contribute to technical design, application modernization, and performance optimization.
- Follow Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning,



reviews, and other ceremonies.

Mandatory Technical Skills Java & Backend Development

- 6–7 years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Core Java
- Experience with the latest Java versions; Java 25 preferred
- Strong experience in Spring Boot
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture
- Experience developing REST APIs
- Strong understanding of OOP, design principles, and common design patterns

Messaging & Event Streaming – Mandatory

- Experience working with Apache Kafka
- Understanding of Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, and offsets
- Experience developing event-driven / asynchronous applications

Databases – Mandatory

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
- Strong understanding of database design, queries, indexing, and performance optimization
- Ability to work with both NoSQL and relational databases

Front-End – Preferred

- Exposure to React will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of frontend-backend integration and REST API consumption.

Good to Have

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP
- Experience with Git and version-control systems
- Knowledge of system design and distributed systems
- Experience with application performance tuning
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodology
