We are looking for a Senior GCP Developer with 7-10 years of experience in software development, data engineering, and cloud-native solutions. The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in GCP, advanced BigQuery SQL, Python, and GCP-native data services.

The ideal candidate will be capable of designing scalable cloud data solutions, leading technical implementation, troubleshooting complex production issues, and mentoring other developers.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable GCP-native data and application solutions.
- Design and implement complex ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP services.
- Develop highly optimized and complex BigQuery SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations.
- Analyze and optimize BigQuery performance, cost, partitioning, clustering, and query execution.
- Develop robust Python applications and data-processing frameworks.
- Design and implement pipelines using Google Cloud Dataflow / Apache Beam.
- Design event-driven architectures using Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
- Build and manage complex workflows using Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow.
- Design data storage and ingestion solutions using Google Cloud Storage.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, retry mechanisms, and failure recovery for production pipelines.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex production and performance issues.
- Define and enforce development standards, coding practices, and cloud architecture patterns.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, data engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Contribute to CI/CD, automation, security, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
