- Roles and Responsibilities :
- Own features end-to-end—from React/React Native interfaces to APIs, databases, and production deployment
- Design and build scalable backend services using Python/FastAPI
- Build reliable web and mobile experiences for low-end devices and unreliable networks
- Design APIs, database schemas, indexes, and data flows handling millions of records
- Debug complex production issues across frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure
- Improve system performance during high-traffic assessment periods
- Integrate AI/ML services, including handwriting recognition and speech assessment pipelines
- Review code and mentor junior engineers
- Work directly with the CTO on architecture and engineering decisions
- Take ownership of problems and drive them through to completion

What We’re Looking For

- 4+ years of solid software engineering experience
- Strong experience with React / React Native
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals; Python/FastAPI, Django, or Flask preferred




- Production experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or comparable databases
- Strong understanding of APIs, authentication, caching, database indexing, and performance
- Ability to systematically debug unfamiliar systems
- Ability to quickly understand and contribute to an existing codebase
- Proven experience personally owning and shipping meaningful production features
- Comfortable using AI coding tools while being able to explain and defend the code you ship

Good to Have
- React Native / Android production experience
- Redis, queues, and asynchronous processing
- Docker and basic Kubernetes debugging
- Offline-first applications and synchronization
- High-traffic or large-scale systems
- CI/CD and cloud infrastructure
- AI/ML inference integration
- EdTech or public-sector technology

Salary Range 13.00 - 16.00 LPA
