GLCS specializes in translating complex regulatory requirements from bodies like MoEF&CC;, CPCB and BIS into practical compliance strategies and long-term risk management solutions. The firm’s services span Environmental Monitoring & Testing, EC Compliance, ESG and sustainability advisory, safety and risk consulting, and comprehensive regulatory support. Role Description The Senior Consultant role at GLCS is a full-time, on-site position based in Salem.

The Senior

Consultant will lead client engagements in QHSE, environmental management, and regulatory compliance, including scoping assignments, planning methodologies, and delivering advisory reports and presentations.

Responsibilities include overseeing environmental and product testing projects, interpreting laboratory results, and converting findings into actionable compliance and sustainability roadmaps. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior consultants,



and coordinating with laboratory staff to ensure quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.

The Senior

Consultant will also engage with regulatory authorities, support audits and inspections, contribute to business development proposals, and help expand GLCS’s services in key industrial sectors.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in QHSE, environmental management, and regulatory compliance, including familiarity with MoEF&CC;, CPCB, BIS, and other relevant standards.
- Interpretation of environmental monitoring and test reports -Water, Effluent, Sewage, Air, Soil, Noise & Vibration and EC Compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to design and deliver compliance consulting projects, sustainability and ESG advisory.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpreting laboratory data, preparing technical reports, and translating complex regulations into transparent guidance.
- Strong client-facing skills, with experience in stakeholder management across sectors such as manufacturing, mining, chemicals, food processing, and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring junior team members, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and managing project timelines and budgets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in preparing proposals, presentations, and regulatory documentation.
- Relevant degree in Environmental Science or Environmental / Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications in QHSE or ESG are an advantage.
