We are looking for a Senior Backend & Cloud Performance Engineer with 8–12 years of experience to support an Industrial IoT and Manufacturing Analytics application.

The ideal candidate will be a strong hands-on engineer with expertise in Python, PostgreSQL, AWS Lambda, serverless/event-driven architecture, SQL performance optimization, production debugging, and performance engineering.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex production issues, optimizing application and database performance, and working across backend services, cloud infrastructure, and industrial data.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and optimize backend applications using Python.
- Work extensively with PostgreSQL and perform SQL query optimization.
- Troubleshoot AWS Lambda performance, concurrency, and scalability issues.
- Work with serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Investigate and resolve complex production performance issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues end-to-end, from React screens/API requests through backend services and databases.
- Analyze complex manufacturing data related to production, downtime, efficiency, shifts, planned stoppages,



faults, and time-based calculations.
- Work with legacy Python applications and improve their performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automated tests.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify and resolve application performance issues.
- Monitor application behaviour and identify potential bottlenecks before they impact production.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8–12 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda.
- Robust understanding of Serverless Architecture.
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture.
- Strong experience in production debugging and performance engineering.
- Experience with application troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Experience with automated testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across the complete application stack.
- Experience working with complex, high-volume or time-based data.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
