- Design & Technical Management: Develop design concepts and prepare detailed Design Basis Reports (DBR). Conduct QA/QC checks on all deliverables produced by junior architects.
- Consultant Coordination: Liaise with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants to resolve interface issues, review shop drawings, and ensure seamless integration of services.
- Statutory Compliance: Verify that sanction drawings and working drawings comply with NBC 2016, local building by-laws, and fire safety norms. Attend authority meetings (Municipal, Fire Committee).
- Team Management: Mentor and guide Junior Architects. Monitor project milestones and ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Site Management: Analyze site problems and propose design-based solutions.
Supervise site execution to ensure quality compliance.
- Documentation & Control: Ensure drawing standards, file management, and document control procedures (as per SOP) are strictly followed, including issuing drawings with proper transmittals.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualification: B. Arch / M. Arch.
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of professional work experience as an Architect.
- Technical Skills: Expert in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), SketchUp, and MS Office.
