Senior Analyst – Business Intelligence Experience: 5–10 years Location: Noida/Chandiagrh/Remote Shift: Normal / Day Shift Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a Senior Analyst – Business Intelligence with robust hands-on experience in Power BI, Semantic Modelling, and Timbr to design, develop, and support scalable business intelligence and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BI architecture, semantic data modelling, data virtualization, and business-friendly data access. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and other technology teams to translate business requirements into reliable and high-performance analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models . Build and optimize semantic data models and semantic layers to support enterprise analytics and reporting.

Leverage

Timbr for semantic modelling, data virtualization, and business-friendly access to enterprise data. Understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI and analytics solutions. Develop scalable and reusable BI datasets and semantic models. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, quality, and adherence to data governance standards.

Optimize

Power BI datasets, semantic models, reports, and dashboards for performance and scalability. Collaborate with data engineers to understand data sources, data structures, and transformation requirements. Work closely with business users and analysts to understand reporting and analytics needs.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI solutions, data models, datasets, and reports. Follow enterprise BI standards, development best practices, and governance guidelines. Contribute to the continuous improvement of BI architecture, semantic modelling, and analytics capabilities.

Required Skills &

Experience Power BI Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI .

Experience developing reports, dashboards,



datasets, and semantic models. Strong understanding of Power BI data modelling and performance optimization.

Experience working with enterprise-scale BI solutions is preferred.

Semantic Modelling

Strong understanding of semantic data modelling and semantic layers.

Experience designing business-friendly and reusable data models. Understanding of data relationships, business entities, metrics, and analytical structures.

Experience implementing governed and consistent data models for BI and analytics.

Timbr

Hands-on experience with Timbr is Mandate.

Experience using Timbr for semantic data modelling and data virtualization . Understanding of how semantic layers can simplify access to enterprise data.

Experience integrating or leveraging Timbr as part of BI and analytics solutions will be an advantage.

Additional Skills

Good understanding of BI and analytics concepts.

Experience working with data quality and data governance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and technical teams. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience 5–10 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data, or a related technical field. Candidates with strong relevant expertise and slightly higher experience may also be considered.
