About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification to join our India Finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations (bank, vendor, and intercompany)Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting StandardsEnsure timely and accurate statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable regulationsSupport internal and statutory audits by preparing schedules, responding to queries, and ensuring documentation is audit-readyPrepare and review MIS reports, variance analysis, and management reporting packsHandle accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments and customer collectionsAssist with payroll accounting and related statutory filings (PF, ESI, PT, etc.) in coordination with HREnsure proper maintenance of books of accounts and supporting documentation in line with company policyCoordinate with external consultants, auditors,



and regulatory authorities as requiredIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controlsPartner with the US team to support US GAAP accounting processes and month-end close activities

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

Chartered Accountant (CA) – qualified from ICAI (mandatory)Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act, GST, and Income Tax regulationsProficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems)Strong working knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with financial modelling and reporting tools is a plusExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skillsStrong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyGood communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of integrity and professional ethicsPreferred Attributes

Prior article ship or work experience in a corporate finance/accounts functionExposure to statutory and internal auditsExperience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders (auditors, banks, tax consultants)What We Offer
