Senior Accountant - India Operations
Location: India
Reporting to: US Finance Controller
Systems: QuickBooks & Tally
Experience: 3-5 Years
About the Role
We are a US-headquartered company with growing operations in India and are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, compliance, and financial coordination for our India branch.
This role requires strong hands-on expertise in QuickBooks and Tally,
experience working with India finance team, and solid knowledge of Indian statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
- - Manage full-cycle accounting: A/P, A/R, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain books in QuickBooks (US reporting) and Tally (India compliance)
- Comply with internal departmental reporting
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations between US and India entities
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Statutory Compliance (India)
- - Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations
- Manage payroll statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Professional Tax)
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
Payroll & Employee Accounting
- - Process end-to-end payroll for India/US employees
- Manage reimbursements and payroll records
- Support Form 16 issuance and annual tax reconciliations
What We re Looking For bachelor s degree in accounting/commerce 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong hands-on expertise in QuickBooks and Tally
Experience working with US-based companies or cross-border reporting
Deep understanding of Indian statutory compliance
Excellent time management skills
Advanced Excel skills
Desire to learn and seek career growth
