Required Qualifications

Candidates should have 1.5+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, digital marketing, or a closely related field, with practical experience executing keyword research, competitor analysis, content optimization, and off-page SEO initiatives.

You should be comfortable using SEO and analytics platforms such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or equivalent tools. Experience may be demonstrated through professional work, freelance projects, agency experience, or a portfolio of measurable SEO outcomes.

Core Requirements

- Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, topical relevance, SERP analysis, and content prioritization.
- Proven ability to identify competitor keyword gaps, content gaps, backlink opportunities, entity gaps, and underserved search topics.
- Experience developing SEO content briefs and optimizing articles for both users and search engines.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-quality mentions, backlinks, reviews, partnerships, and referral traffic through ethical outreach and relationship building.
- Practical understanding of answer engine optimization, including featured snippets, People Also Ask results, voice search, direct answers, and question-based search behavior.
- Working knowledge of generative engine optimization principles and AI-powered search visibility.
- Ability to optimize content for clear, accurate, concise, and contextually complete answers.
- Experience structuring content with question-and-answer formats, summaries, FAQs, definitions, comparisons, lists, and other answer-friendly layouts.
- Understanding of entity optimization, topical authority, author expertise, brand mentions, citations, reviews,



and third-party validation.
- Familiarity with structured data and schema opportunities that support content understanding and search presentation.
- Ability to monitor brand and competitor visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI answer platforms.
- Robust understanding of on-page SEO, internal linking, content architecture, and conversion-focused content.
- Ability to interpret SEO and web analytics data and turn findings into prioritized recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to distinguish high-quality, relevant opportunities from low-value or potentially harmful SEO tactics.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in digital PR, link building, partnership development, review generation, or referral marketing.
- Experience optimizing content for AI-powered search platforms, conversational search, or voice assistants.
- Familiarity with tools and workflows used to monitor AI search visibility, brand citations, search-result features, and generative search mentions.
- Experience developing entity, digital PR, thought leadership, or expert authority strategies.
- Experience working with SaaS, technology, professional services, marketplaces, or other competitive search categories.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, Webflow, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of HTML, crawling, indexing, technical SEO, structured data, and schema markup.
- Experience using spreadsheets or visualization tools to analyze and communicate SEO performance.
- A portfolio showing published content, successful link-building campaigns, keyword-gap analyses, AEO improvements, GEO initiatives, or measurable organic growth.
