We work on water and infrastructure projects involving pumping systems, technology deployment, engineering, project execution, commissioning, and operations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Scheduling & Planning Engineer to support the planning, monitoring, control, and timely execution of multiple projects, primarily in the water and wastewater infrastructure sector.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in Primavera P6 / MS Project, project scheduling, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, forecasting, project controls, MIS reporting, and recovery planning.

The selected candidate will work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Project Execution, QA/QC, Site, Commissioning, Vendors, Contractors, and Management teams.

The position will report to the Head Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules covering engineering, procurement, supply, logistics, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Prepare Project Master Schedules, detailed execution schedules, look-ahead plans, catch-up plans, and milestone trackers.
- Establish project baselines and maintain schedule revisions, re-baselining, and change tracking.
- Develop micro-level schedules and recovery plans for delayed, critical, and high-priority activities.

Project Monitoring & Control

- Monitor actual progress against approved schedules and identify delays, deviations, risks, and bottlenecks.
- Perform Critical Path Method (CPM), float analysis,



schedule variance analysis, and completion forecasting.
- Track engineering deliverables, procurement status, material deliveries, site execution, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM), progress measurement, productivity monitoring, and S-curve reporting.
- Assess the impact of scope changes, delays, and disruptions on project schedules.
- Support preparation of Extension of Time (EOT), delay analysis, and schedule impact reports, wherever required.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Projects, QA/QC, Logistics, Site Execution, and Commissioning teams.
- Review contractor and vendor schedules for alignment with contractual milestones and project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers on planning and scheduling matters.
- Participate in and facilitate periodic project planning and progress review meetings.

MIS, Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Develop project dashboards, KPI reports, milestone trackers, and management summaries.
- Maintain planning documentation, progress records, productivity data, and schedule revision/change history.
- Prepare project review presentations and management reports.

Resource & Risk Planning

- Support resource planning, manpower forecasting, and utilization tracking.




- Identify schedule-related risks and support mitigation and contingency planning.
- Contribute to improving project planning, monitoring, reporting, and project-control processes.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project controls.
- Good understanding of CPM, WBS, baseline schedules, resource planning, S-curves, EVM, schedule variance, forecasting, and recovery planning.
- Experience in preparing MIS reports, dashboards, look-ahead schedules, and management presentations.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple engineering and project stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic execution workplace.

Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with project planning/scheduling experience in any of the following sectors will be preferred:
- Water Supply & Water Infrastructure
- Wastewater / Sewage Treatment
- STP / WTP / Pumping Stations
- Water Transmission / Distribution Projects
- EPC / Infrastructure Projects
- Industrial Utilities / Process Infrastructure
- Pumping Systems / Electro-Mechanical Projects

Candidate Requirements
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls.
- Experience in water/wastewater/EPC/infrastructure projects will be strongly preferred.
- Must be willing to travel across PAN India depending on project requirements.
- Should be open to relocation/project-site deployment, if required.
