Role Description The IFM Operations Head – School Experience is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for leading integrated facilities management operations across one or more school campuses. This role oversees day-to-day building and infrastructure maintenance, housekeeping, security, transport, and other support services to ensure a safe, effective, and learner-friendly environment.

The IFM Operations Head will develop and implement operational processes, manage vendor relationships, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and ESG standards. The role includes close coordination with school leadership, timely reporting on performance metrics, handling escalation of operational issues,



and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position also involves mentoring on-site teams, implementing technology-based solutions, and aligning operations to VISCO India’s quality and service excellence standards.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in integrated facilities management or operations leadership, preferably in education, corporate campuses, or large real estate portfolios.
- Demonstrated ability in people management, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination across school administration, vendors, and internal teams.
- Sound knowledge of building maintenance, housekeeping, security, transport management, and health and safety practices.
- Proficiency in using facility management systems, basic MS Office tools, and technology platforms for monitoring service delivery and reporting.
- Proven capability in budgeting, cost control, vendor management, and contract compliance.
- Familiarity with ESG, sustainability practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to facilities and school operations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage escalations calmly and effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related field; advanced certifications in FM or HSE are an advantage.
- Prior experience managing on-site teams in Gurugram or similar urban environments is preferred.
