Location : Chennai (Hybrid Permanent Role)

Experience Required : 6 Years in IT (Minimum 3 - 5 Years in SAP MM / S/4HANA Functional Consulting with at least 1 Full-Lifecycle S/4HANA & Fiori Implementation)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant with deep automotive or discrete manufacturing domain expertise to join our Global Source-to-Pay platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing core business processes, leading Fit-Gap analyses, defining the to-be functional architecture, and orchestrating seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA MM, SAP Ariba Sourcing, and Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC).

The ideal candidate is an agile functional specialist who has executed at least one end-to-end S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementation. You will author comprehensive Functional Design Documents (FDD), collaborate with ABAP, Fiori, and Cloud platform engineers (GCP/PCF, BigQuery), configure complex manufacturing workflows (Directed Tier-2, Subcontracting, Scheduling Agreements, Intercompany flows), and drive cutover, data migration, and UAT validation across global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

1. S/4HANA MM Architecture & Process Engineering :

- Lead business process discovery,



Fit-Gap analyses, and to-be blueprinting for Source-to-Pay workflows covering Requisitioning, Purchase Orders, Scheduling Agreements, Directed Tier-2 sourcing, Subcontracting, and Intercompany trade.

2. Ariba Sourcing & SCC Integration :

- Drive functional configuration and data integration between SAP S/4HANA MM, SAP Ariba Sourcing, and Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) for supplier forecasting, PO confirmation, and advanced shipping notifications.

3. FDD/TDD Authoring & Technical Handoff :

- Create detailed Functional Design Documents (FDD), user stories, and acceptance criteria. Partner with technical software engineers (ABAP, SAP Fiori, GCP/PCF) to translate business logic into scalable technical designs.

4. Cross-Platform & Cloud Data Integrations :

- Analyze interface requirements and coordinate integration between SAP S/4HANA, legacy non-SAP enterprise systems, BigQuery, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

5. Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Lead and support multi-tier testing phases on the SAP platform, including Functional Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Security/Role validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

6. Data Migration, Cutover & NA Overlap :





- Support master data profiling, cleansing, and extraction routines. Provide dedicated support during cutover, go-live, and hypercare across North American (NA) time zones.

7. Global Leadership & Steady-State Support :

- Guide collaborative global teams through post-go-live stabilization, provide root-cause analysis (RCA) for complex operational defects, and design long-term functional roadmaps.

Skills & Qualifications :

1. Required Technical DNA :

- Core SAP MM Mastery : 3 years of dedicated functional configuration experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) covering Requisitioning to Ordering, Scheduling Agreements, Subcontracting, and Intercompany processing.
- S/4HANA & Fiori Implementation : Proven participation in at least 1 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori implementation (blueprint to go-live/stabilization).
- Automotive/Manufacturing Domain : Direct industry experience working with automotive or discrete manufacturing supply chain processes.
- Tenure : 6 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 4 years in software/functional development and business analysis.

2. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) :

- Ariba Core : Hands-on functional knowledge of SAP Ariba Sourcing and Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) integration touchpoints.
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Solution Manager (Solman), or cloud data lakes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP BigQuery).
- Active SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement credential.
