We are looking for an experienced SAP PPM / SAP PS Application Engineering Lead to own the design, configuration, integration, and continuous improvement of SAP Portfolio and Project Management and SAP Project System solutions.

The role involves leading technical teams, driving solution standards, managing releases, resolving complex issues, and ensuring SAP solutions meet business requirements while maintaining stability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as an SME for SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) and SAP Project System (PS).
- Lead and manage the team, taking ownership of technical and solution-related decisions.
- Design, configure, and enhance SAP PPM and SAP PS solutions based on business requirements.
- Manage integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Oversee release activities, deployments, and production support.
- Establish and maintain best practices and platform standards for reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical and functional issues.




- Provide solutions that support project delivery across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members and support knowledge development.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and solution optimization initiatives.

Required Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM).
- Strong experience in SAP Project System (PS).
- Good understanding of enterprise project lifecycle management.
- Experience in SAP configuration, integration, and solution enhancement.
- Strong understanding of SAP project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and complex enterprise environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading teams and making technical/solution decisions.

Preferred Profile

- 5.5+ years of overall SAP experience, with preferably 5+ years in SAP PPM/PS.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as an SME and lead technical teams.
- Experience in enterprise-scale SAP implementations, enhancements, and support projects.

Education
- Minimum 15 years of full-time education.
