Role Description The SAP FICO Consultant will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing SAP FICO modules to support finance and controlling processes at Saint-Gobain in India. Day-to-day activities include gathering business requirements, designing solutions, performing system configurations, conducting testing, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

The role involves collaborating closely with finance, controlling, and IT stakeholders, preparing documentation, and providing user training and post-implementation support. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular interaction with local and regional teams and adherence to corporate standards and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

- Solid SAP FICO functional expertise, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,



Asset Accounting, and Controlling (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders).
- Experience in requirement gathering, business process mapping, solution design, and configuration within SAP FICO.
- Proficiency in integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP, and understanding of end-to-end business processes.
- Hands-on experience with testing (unit, integration, user acceptance), issue resolution, and production support in SAP environments.
- Knowledge of Indian statutory requirements, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance within an SAP framework.
- Ability to create functional specifications, collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, Basis), and support enhancements and change requests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in SAP FICO or finance are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an SAP FICO Consultant in manufacturing or large industrial organizations is highly beneficial.
