SAP Basis Consultant

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support SAP S/4HANA landscapes hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Perform SAP system refreshes, client copies.
- Plan, prepare, and execute SAP maintenance activities, including:
- Kernel upgrades
- Patch implementation
- Maintenance Planner activities
- Administer and monitor SAP HANA Database, including backup, recovery, database health checks, and performance optimization.
- Analyze and resolve SAP HANA database performance issues, SQL performance bottlenecks, and database growth-related concerns.
- Perform proactive technical monitoring of SAP systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot:
- Work processes
- Background jobs
- Update requests
- Spool system
- RFC communication
- ICM
- Gateway
- System logs
- Dumps
- Lock entries
- Plan and support SAP Data Archiving activities to manage database growth and improve system performance.
- Perform regular system health checks and recommend performance tuning and optimization.
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot:
- SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
- SAP Cloud Connector
- SAProuter
- SSL Certificates
- Support integration between SAP and cloud/on-premise applications.
- Troubleshoot SAP application, database, operating system, network, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate maintenance windows and production deployments with infrastructure, database, and application teams.
- Work closely with Functional Consultants, ABAP Developers, Infrastructure Teams, Network Teams, Database Administrators,



and Business Users to resolve technical issues and deliver project requirements.
- Participate in production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and planned maintenance activities.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in SAP BASIS Administration.
- Hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA Database Administration.
- Experience in SAP system refresh, and maintenance activities.
- Experience in SAP Technical Monitoring and System Health Checks.
- Knowledge of SAP Data Archiving concepts and administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to SAP application, database, operating system, and network issues.
- Experience analyzing and resolving SAP HANA database performance issues.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
- SAP Cloud Connector
- SAProuter
- Knowledge of SSL, HTTPS, RFC, Trusted Systems, and certificate management.
- Linux administration knowledge.
- Experience with Transport Management System (TMS).

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
