Role Description This is a full time hybrid role for a Salesperson at Skywood Furniture Pvt. Ltd., based in Nagpur, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks. The Salesperson will greet and assist customers in the showroom, understand their furniture needs, and recommend suitable products and solutions.

Daily responsibilities include explaining product features and pricing, preparing quotations, processing orders, and coordinating with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment. The role also involves maintaining product displays, following up with prospects and existing customers, updating sales records, and supporting basic online or phone inquiries. The Salesperson will work closely with the sales and management team to meet individual and showroom sales targets while providing a professional and positive customer experience.





Qualifications

- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to listen carefully, understand requirements, and build long-term relationships.
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages, including clear verbal communication and basic written skills for quotations and messages.
- Sales aptitude with basic knowledge of consultative selling, negotiation, and closing techniques in a retail or showroom environment.
- Comfort using computers and digital tools, such as POS systems, spreadsheets, messaging apps, and basic online catalogs.
- Good organizational skills, including attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, visiting the Nagpur showroom regularly while managing certain follow-ups and documentation from home.
- Prior experience in furniture, interiors, or retail sales is an advantage but motivated early-career candidates are also encouraged to apply.
- Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma; a graduate degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work showroom hours, including weekends and peak festival seasons, with a professional and respectful attitude toward all customers and colleagues.
