Technical Architect – Salesforce DevOps

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect – DevOps with robust expertise in Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, release automation, environment management, and DevSecOps .

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing DevOps architecture and standards, driving automation across Salesforce environments, and enabling reliable, scalable, and secure continuous delivery.

This role requires a strong combination of Salesforce technical expertise, DevOps architecture, hands-on automation experience, technical leadership, and stakeholder management .

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business, engineering, delivery, and client stakeholders to understand DevOps requirements and delivery objectives.
- Assess existing DevOps processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improvement.
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, release automation, deployment strategies, and environment management solutions .
- Define and establish branching strategies, release governance, deployment methodologies, rollback strategies, and environment standards .
- Lead DevOps architecture workshops, technical design sessions, and solution discussions.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps tools, automation frameworks, and engineering best practices.
- Establish and implement DevSecOps practices across the Salesforce development and delivery lifecycle.
- Enable continuous delivery across multiple Salesforce environments.
- Collaborate closely with Salesforce Development, QA, Architecture, Engineering, and Delivery teams.




- Develop reusable DevOps frameworks, accelerators, standards, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to DevOps and Salesforce engineering teams.
- Support pre-sales activities, including client workshops, technical demonstrations, solution presentations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Evaluate emerging DevOps and AI-assisted engineering technologies and recommend relevant adoption opportunities.

DevSecOps & Cloud-Native Technologies
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes .
- Experience integrating security and quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.




- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of code quality, monitoring, and observability platforms.
- Experience implementing secure and scalable software delivery practices.

AI-Assisted Engineering Exposure to AI-assisted engineering and developer productivity tools such as:
- Claude
- GitHub Copilot
- Cursor

Experience & Qualifications
- 12–15 years of overall IT / CRM experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience .
- Robust experience in Salesforce DevOps architecture and implementation .
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade CI/CD and release management solutions .
- Experience working with multiple Salesforce environments and deployment models.
- Strong experience in automation, release governance, and environment management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
- Experience in client-facing and consulting environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Salesforce Certifications are preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be:
- A strong Salesforce DevOps Architect / Technical Architect with hands-on implementation experience.
- Highly experienced in designing and implementing enterprise-scale CI/CD solutions.
- Comfortable leading architecture workshops and technical discussions.
- Capable of translating business and delivery requirements into scalable DevOps solutions.
- Experienced in balancing architecture, governance, automation, and hands-on technical execution .
- Strong in stakeholder and client management.
