ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Independently extract data from databases using optimized SQL, including CTEs and window functions.
- Independently design and build Power BI dashboards, including public-facing dashboards, for state-level and project stakeholders.
- Present data and findings in a transparent, easy-to-understand form for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply an understanding of basic statistical concepts, such as normal distribution and standard deviation, to data analysis and interpretation.
- Independently create appealing presentations and deliver them to internal teams, partners, and government stakeholders.
- Independently create M&E; and impact reports for specific teams and projects.
- Design questionnaires and measurement tools to explore stakeholders' understanding and perceptions of projects across the education and mental health domains.
- Plan and lead field surveys to collect relevant primary data on various VOPA initiatives.
- Support and mentor junior associates on data analysis, dashboarding, and reporting practices.
- Coordinate with the Project team and district-level stakeholders to deliver timely, district-wise status reports.
- Support and institutionalize robust data management systems across teams.
- Regularly compile and publish organization-level impact reports.
- Additional responsibilities as needed in response to evolving organizational priorities and project requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Data Science, or a related field.
- Formal training in data analysis or M&E; frameworks is preferred.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in research, M&E;, data analysis, or project evaluation,



preferably in the development or non-profit sector.
- Familiarity with designing data collection tools (e.g., surveys, questionnaires, interviews).
- Demonstrated experience working independently with large datasets and public-facing dashboards.

Skills Technical & Analytical

- Advanced SQL, including query optimization, CTEs, and window functions.
- Independent Power BI dashboard creation, including exposure to DAX for calculated measures and KPIs.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, PostgreSQL, or Power BI).
- Ability to design and validate monitoring tools and impact assessment frameworks.
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts, such as normal distribution and standard deviation, and sampling techniques.

Communication & Documentation

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to compile and present findings clearly for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail.

Project & Coordination

- Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end reporting and dashboarding workflows.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams, including state-level and district-level stakeholders, and manage timelines for data reporting.
- Experience supporting large-scale data collection and tool standardization efforts.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members is a plus.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
