About the Company A global bank standing up its India technology and operations centre has partnered with Flexiple to hire a Research Manager to run its market and credit research desk. You will lead a small team of analysts and be the point of contact for senior banking and risk stakeholders on research output. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.

Role Overview

As Research Manager, you will own the research agenda for a growing desk covering markets, credit, and industry sectors, and lead a small team that turns raw data into findings the bank's business and risk leaders can act on.

Key Responsibilities

Team and Methodology Leadership

- Lead, coach, and review the work of a team of research analysts, setting the bar for rigor and accuracy
- Own the research methodology across market, credit, and industry coverage areas
- Prioritise the team's research pipeline against business, risk, and regulatory priorities

Stakeholder and Delivery Ownership

- Present findings and recommendations directly to senior business and risk stakeholders




- Partner with global research and risk teams to align India output with enterprise standards
- Own escalations on data quality, turnaround time, and research scope with internal clients

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 5 to 10 years in research, analysis, or a related function, including experience leading or mentoring a small team
- Strong grounding in banking, credit, or capital-markets research methodologies
- Proven ability to present findings clearly to senior, non-technical stakeholders
- Transparent written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA or postgraduate degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar market-data platforms
- Prior exposure to regulatory or compliance-linked research within banking
