About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory / Financial Reporting Accountant with hands-on experience in financial reporting and regulatory reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial statements, General Ledger, reconciliations, regulatory reporting requirements, accounting standards and financial disclosures.

Experience supporting US financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, investment firms or multinational organizations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and support periodic financial and regulatory reports.
- Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules and reporting packs.
- Review General Ledger and Trial Balance information.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Perform financial data and variance analysis.
- Support regulatory filings and reporting submissions.
- Ensure reports are accurate, complete and submitted within deadlines.
- Prepare Journal Entries and accounting adjustments where required.
- Support Month-End, Quarter-End and Year-End Close.
- Assist with financial statement disclosures.
- Research applicable accounting and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, Risk,



Compliance, Treasury and Operations teams.
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.
- Maintain reporting documentation and audit trails.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Key Software Microsoft Excel, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Workiva, BlackLine, Power BI; experience with other ERP, financial reporting or regulatory reporting systems will also be considered.

Accounting & Regulatory Knowledge

Regulatory Reporting, Financial Reporting, Financial Statements, US GAAP, IFRS, Regulatory Filings, SEC Reporting, General Ledger, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, Account Reconciliation, Variance Analysis, Financial Disclosures, Month-End Close, Internal Controls, Audit Documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / Accounting or a related field.
- CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA or relevant professional qualification preferred.
- 38 years of relevant Regulatory / Financial Reporting / R2R experience.
- Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge.
- Experience with regulatory reporting and financial statements.
- Strong US GAAP and/or IFRS knowledge.
- Solid Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting US financial institutions or international clients preferred.
