Job Summary

Siddharth Carbochem Products Ltd. (SCPL) is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and manage all laboratory quality control activities at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in analytical instrumentation, particularly HPLC and Gas Chromatography (GC), along with experience in specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, APIs, or chemical manufacturing.

The role involves managing laboratory operations, ensuring timely testing of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples while maintaining compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and laboratory best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Operations

- Lead day-to-day QC laboratory operations.
- Ensure timely analysis and release/rejection of raw materials, intermediates, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Monitor laboratory productivity and ensure adherence to testing schedules.
- Review analytical reports, chromatograms, and Certificates of Analysis (COA).

Analytical Instrumentation
- Provide technical leadership for HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, KF Titrator, Auto Titrator, and other analytical instruments.
- Troubleshoot instrument and analytical issues.
- Ensure proper calibration, qualification, maintenance, and preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments.

Method Validation & Technical Support
- Perform or review analytical method validation, verification, transfer, and routine method execution.




- Support process development and new product introduction from a quality control perspective.
- Investigate analytical deviations and recommend corrective actions.

Quality Systems & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO standards, and internal quality systems.
- Handle OOS, OOT, deviations, incidents, CAPA, change control, and laboratory investigations.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.

Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop QC analysts and laboratory staff.
- Allocate laboratory work and monitor performance.
- Conduct technical training on analytical techniques, SOPs, GMP, GLP, and laboratory safety.

Documentation
- Review and approve:

- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

- Specifications

- Standard Test Procedures (STPs)

- Certificates of Analysis (COA)

- Stability Reports

- Validation Protocols and Reports

- Laboratory Records

- Investigation Reports

- Continuous Improvement
- Improve laboratory efficiency, analytical accuracy, and turnaround time.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and cost reduction.
- Support implementation of best laboratory practices.
- Robust hands-on experience with:

- HPLC

- Gas Chromatography (GC)
- UV-Visible Spectrophotometer

- FTIR

- Karl Fischer Titrator

- Auto Titrator
- Experience in analytical method validation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of laboratory investigations (OOS, OOT, CAPA, deviations).
- Familiarity with LIMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
