We are looking for a skilled QA Tester with 2-3 years of experience in both manual and automation testing to join our team in Velachery, Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web/software products through thorough testing, bug tracking, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual and automated) based on project requirements
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI/UX testing
- Identify, log, and track bugs/defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar
- Write and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards
- Conduct smoke, sanity, and regression testing before releases




- Prepare test plans, test cases, and test summary reports
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and QA reviews
- Ensure timely delivery of testing tasks within project deadlines

Requirements:

- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Experience with automation tools (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright/Appium)
- Working knowledge of API testing tools (Postman/RestAssured)
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, or similar)
- Basic understanding of SQL for database validation
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Valuable communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to work from office in Velachery, Chennai
- Comfortable with work timings (11 AM – 9 PM)

Good to Have:

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter)
- Basic scripting knowledge (Java/Python/JavaScript)
- ISTQB certification
