We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade integrations within a cloud-native environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python-based microservices development, hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) integration stack, and a proven track record in building and supporting scalable integration solutions.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust APIs, event-driven integrations, and batch processing solutions while ensuring operational excellence through L2/L3 support and incident management.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Core Python and microservices architecture.
- Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
- Develop and manage cloud-native integrations leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Design and implement integration patterns including:
- REST-based integrations
- Event-driven architectures
- File-based integrations
- Develop and maintain batch processing workflows and real-time event-driven solutions.
- Provide L2/L3 production support, incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions.
- Contribute to system modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy platforms to modern cloud-native architectures.
- Follow DevOps best practices, including CI/CD implementation, containerization, and deployment automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Python Integration Development

- Robust hands-on experience with Core Python.




- Proven experience in building microservices-based applications.
- Experience developing APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Hands-on experience with:
- Cloud Run
- Pub/Sub
- API Gateway
- Cloud Storage

Enterprise Integration & Application Support
- Experience with enterprise integration solutions involving APIs and batch processing.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience providing L2/L3 support and conducting root cause analysis.

Integration Architecture & Patterns
- REST APIs
- Event-driven integration patterns
- File-based integration solutions
- Secure and scalable integration design principles

Preferred Qualifications

Insurance Domain Experience

- Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance domain, preferably Personal Lines.
- Understanding of insurance workflows, claims processing, policy administration, and related integrations.

Integration Experience
- Hands-on experience with both batch-based and event-driven integrations.
- Experience integrating with third-party/vendor systems such as:

- Claims platforms

- Payment gateways

- Document management systems

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in modernization initiatives involving migration from:
- Java/Spring Boot applications to Python-based microservices
- On-premise systems to GCP cloud-native platforms

- Experience with

- Docker

- CI/CD pipelines

- Containerized deployments
- Cloud-native architecture patterns
