Role Overview

Turing is looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer to join our Digital & Technology team. The role involves designing and developing scalable backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and LLM-powered automation workflows for internal and client-facing platforms.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python backend development, SQL, REST APIs, cloud, Docker, CI/CD, and LLM API integration . The candidate should also be comfortable working with business and technical stakeholders to convert requirements into reliable, production-ready solutions.

Mandatory Skills – Must Have

Candidates must have hands-on experience with the following:

- Python: Strong proficiency in Python backend development.
- FastAPI / Flask / Django: Robust experience building production-grade backend applications and REST APIs.
- SQL: Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent relational databases .
- Database Development:



Experience with schema design, indexing, query optimization, migrations, and ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy .
- REST APIs: Experience designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- LLM Integration: Practical experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent into backend applications.
- Prompt Engineering: Hands-on experience creating and optimizing prompts for reliable and production-ready LLM outputs.
- Git: Strong experience with Git and collaborative code management.
- Docker: Hands-on experience with containerization and Docker.
- CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform — AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Production Support: Experience with application monitoring, debugging, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Important: Candidates without strong hands-on experience in Python + Backend/API Development + SQL + LLM API Integration + Docker + Cloud should not be considered.
