Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Head to lead the company’s complete procurement function. The role will be responsible for vendor management, strategic sourcing, price negotiation, cost optimization, timely procurement, inventory coordination, and building strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective purchase and procurement strategies.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit periods, and commercial agreements.
- Monitor market prices, product availability, and industry trends.
- Ensure timely procurement of mobile phones, accessories, and other required products.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and sales teams.
- Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, pending orders, and supplier commitments.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on price, quality, service, and delivery.
- Develop alternate vendors to reduce supply and business risks.
- Drive cost-saving and procurement optimization initiatives.




- Verify purchase rates and ensure proper approval before procurement.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, MIS reports, and vendor data.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Warehouse, Sales, and Management teams.
- Lead and manage the purchase team and monitor their KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and procedures.

Required Skills
- Robust negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Good knowledge of mobile phones and electronic accessories is preferred.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Good knowledge of Excel, ERP/software, and MIS reporting.
- Leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- MBA/PG qualification in Supply Chain or Procurement will be an advantage.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, with prior experience in a senior purchase/procurement role preferred.
