Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Proposal & Tender Executive – Automation to manage end-to-end tendering and proposal activities for industrial automation, instrumentation, SCADA, PLC, and control system projects .

The candidate will be responsible for identifying tender opportunities, understanding technical and commercial requirements, preparing techno-commercial proposals, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely and compliant tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and identify tender opportunities through GeM, Central/State E-Procurement portals, PSU portals, and private client platforms .
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, scope of work, drawings, and commercial terms.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for automation and instrumentation projects.
- Prepare and compile tender documents as per client specifications and submission requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, Procurement, Finance, and Management teams for technical and commercial inputs.
- Prepare BOQ, costing, estimation, price schedules, compliance statements, and technical deviations .
- Support estimation and costing for PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, VFD, control panels, instrumentation, communication systems, and automation solutions .
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and commercial conditions.
- Handle EMD, Performance Bank Guarantee, Security Deposit, GST, freight, insurance, taxes, and other commercial requirements .
- Review contractual conditions including LD clauses, warranty, defect liability,



payment terms, and other risks .
- Manage complete tender submission activities, including online and physical submissions , within defined deadlines.
- Coordinate printing, binding, documentation, packaging, and dispatch of hard-copy tender documents wherever required.
- Maintain tender MIS, opportunity tracker, submission records, costing sheets, and proposal databases .
- Track tender status, technical clarifications, corrigenda, bid openings, and further client communications.
- Assist the sales and technical teams in preparing pre-bid queries, presentations, clarifications, and post-bid documentation .

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Automation , or related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in proposal, tendering, estimation, or techno-commercial activities.
- Experience in Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, SCADA, PLC/DCS, control systems, or electrical/automation projects .
- Good understanding of technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, compliance sheets, and project scope .
- Working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, VFD, control panels, instrumentation, and industrial communication systems will be preferred.
- Good understanding of GST, taxes, freight, insurance, EMD/BG, payment terms, LD, warranty, and contractual conditions .
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF tools, and online tender portals .
- Strong analytical, documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Robust follow-up and multitasking ability.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates from Industrial Automation, System Integration, Instrumentation, Control Systems, EPC, or Engineering Solution companies with hands-on experience in tendering and techno-commercial proposal preparation will be preferred.
