Job Title: Solar Project Quality Integrated PV Manufacturing

About the client: INDOSOL Solar Private Limited is a Special Project Vehicle (SPV) of Shirdi Sai Electricals Limited (SSEL), who is a leading Indian Conglomerate (Manufacturing B2B) in Transformer manufacturing, headquartered in Hyderabad. Having qualified in PLI (Production linked incentive) scheme through MNRE, Government of India is keenly materializing to set-up 10GW Integrated PV manufacturing for the entire value chain (Polysilicon, ingot, wafer, cell, Module & Glass manufacturing). Currently, this position is for their upcoming expansion plan for 9 GW Ingot-wafer-cell-module facility

Job Purpose The Incumbent will be part of solar manufacturing project (Ingot-wafer-cell-module plant) and will be responsible to drive the Project Quality department through best practices & cutting-edge methods. He/ she will work closely with the other department functions to define all the necessary process and control procedures to meet product functionality, quality and reliability requirements. He/ she will be self-motivated and with good ethics and dedication to be a part of design, engineering & execution team working on strategic ambition to be the world leading Integrated PV Manufacturer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Quality Strategy & Documentation

- Architected and deployed comprehensive Project Quality Plans (PQP) covering all civil, mechanical, electrical, C&I;,



and gas/chemical packages from raw material intake to final project handover.
- Authored and enforced quality control guidelines, ensuring full compliance with international engineering and solar best practice standards.
- Reviewed and approved critical quality deliverables, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), method statements, and Material Approval Requests (MAR).

Team Leadership & Capacity Building

- Directed and mentored a cross-functional team of quality engineers, inspectors, and document controllers, assigning personnel to specific site activities for maximum efficiency.
- Designed and delivered training programs for project teams and subcontractors, driving strict awareness of solar construction specifications and quality requirements.

Compliance, Auditing & Continuous Improvement

- Executed internal and external audits and site surveillances to verify adherence to organizational and regulatory quality standards.
- Evaluated and managed subcontractor and supplier quality, ensuring all external vendors met strict manufacturing and material expectations.
- Conducted routine, critical inspections of project activities,



ensuring absolute compliance with approved quality plans and specifications.
- Investigated non-conformances, identified root causes, and successfully implemented Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to mitigate reoccurrence.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

- Served as the primary liaison for clients, regulatory bodies, and internal management, representing the company in critical project coordination meetings.
- Generated and presented comprehensive quality reports for senior management, highlighting site progress, test results, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintained exhaustive quality documentation and records, ensuring seamless audits and project close-out.
- Compliance with HSE standards, ISO standards, other statutory compliances, registrations & permits.

Required Qualifications & Specific Package Experience

- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical with experience in heading quality of green field/brown field projects (Solar, semiconductor, Oil & gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, battery, steel plants, etc) with atleast 13-15years experience
- Experience in handling Transformers, substations, AIS/GIS, LV Switchgears, Busducts, HT/ LT Motors, HT, LT Power Cables, UPS & specific utility packages like HVAC, Cooling tower, Compressed Air, Process Cooling Water, Speciality Gas, bulk gas, Argon recovery, Chemical, Process Exhaust, ETP, UPW, WTP, STP, Fire hydrants, Alarm, Detection and Protection System & etc., would be highly desirable
