- Project Manager

As a TaskUs Project Manager, you will be the architect and catalyst of AI-integrated project delivery and operational transformation. Your mission is to transcend traditional project road mapping by driving human-AI collaboration, deep process mapping, and technology-driven problem solving to accelerate client implementations and internal digital transformations.

Youll manage complex initiatives ranging from client launches and site builds to strategic AI-driven process improvements, with success measured by the transformative outcomes and operational visibility you deliver.

Your responsibilities include

- Engaging with key stakeholders and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring scope, cost, and timelines are met.
- Conducting deep-dive meetings with stakeholders, documenting actions, and creating timelines for resolution.
- Validating workflows and processes for new opportunities.
- Acting as the communication hub for project stakeholders, managing competing priorities and expectations.
- Being adaptable and solution-minded, navigating changes with resilience and a focus on positive outcomes.
- Managing client relationships and expectations throughout the project cycle.
- Contributing to the closure process and organization-wide improvements based on lessons learned.
- Reporting to cross-geo managers and aligning with diverse teams across multiple regions.
- AI-Enhanced Documentation & Planning: Proactively incorporate generative AI tools (e.g., Google Workspace with Gemini) or likes to streamline the creation of project documentation, including initial project plans, executive reports, and proposals.
- Developing comprehensive project plans using standardized documentation (WBS, agendas, action trackers) and proactively incorporating generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini) to streamline communication flows, risk tracking, updates, etc.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams across multiple geographies, driving process improvements, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining strong relationships with global partners while leveraging AI to support these improvements.
- Leading weekly syncs, tracking milestones, action items, and escalation points utilizing AI capabilities within tools to organize project data, create custom tables such as task trackers, and automate manual text processing tasks.




- Process Automation & Improvement: Identify opportunities to leverage AI for process improvements, including automating routine project tasks using tools like Workspace Studio, or utilizing AI for deep research and comprehensive reporting on complex project topics.
- Developing comprehensive project plans using standardized documentation (WBS, agendas, action trackers).
- End-to-End Process Mapping: Independently map end-to-end operational workflows, process flows, and exception paths (utilizing process mapping/mining tools) to identify exact points where automation, robotics, Agentic AI, or AutoQA can be injected.
- AI Solution Consultation & Client Pitching: Partner with internal digital and transformation teams to construct data-driven business cases and visual process proposals ("Human-in-the-Loop" architecture) to pitch AI and technology adoption to external client executives.
- Day-1 Reporting Guardrails: Guarantee 100% Day-1 reporting readiness (automated dashboards or standardized manual trackers) for all account launches and transitions, maintaining strict operational visibility from day one.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business/project management experience. 3-5 years of project management experience.

- 2+ years in operations/account management, working directly with clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams across different geographies, manage cross-functional teams respectfully, and report to cross-geo managers.
- A solution-oriented mindset, comfortable with change and evolving business needs.
- Openness to working in multiple time zones, usually aligning with client or project team’s working hours.

- Demonstrated understanding of core generative AI principles and their practical application in project planning, documentation, and stakeholder communication.




- Proven ability to craft clear, specific, and effective prompts to guide AI tools in generating accurate and useful outputs, such as drafting summaries, creating content, or refining ideas.
- Proactive AI & Tech Passion: Demonstrated passion and a proactive track record of experimenting with, deploying, or driving technology and AI-driven solutions to solve real-world business problems.

- Process Mapping Capability: Proven ability to map complex operational process flows, identify inefficiencies, and design optimized workflows.
- Executive Presentation Skills: Ability to articulate complex operational workflows and pitch tech/AI concepts clearly to senior C-suite client stakeholders.
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness and open availability to work US operational hours / night shifts as needed to align with global account demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

- BPO experience
- PMP, Agile, and/or Lean Six Sigma certifications
- Google Workspace with Gemini feature set (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Gmail) and experience leveraging these or other AI tools to accelerate project workflows and content creation.

- Experience with international vendor management and launching current sites or geographies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems (8x8, Aircall, Five9, Salesforce, Zendesk, Smartsheet, G Suite).
- Process Mapping Tools: Experience with process mapping and workflow visualization tools (e.g., Sirocco Scout, Visio, Lucidchart, Celonis, or similar).
