About the Role

We are launching “Go For Gold (GFG)”, a flagship program aimed at identifying and accelerating the top-performing students at Newton School of Technology (NST) into exceptional outcomes - placements, competitions, and leadership roles.

We’re looking for a Program Lead who can build, own, and scale this 0→1 initiative, creating a high-performance student ecosystem on campus.

Key Responsibilities

Program Design & Ownership

- Build and launch the Go For Gold (GFG) program from scratch
- Define program structure: cohorts, milestones, evaluation criteria, and rewards
- Create a scalable and repeatable program model across batches

Student Excellence & Engagement

- Identify and nurture top 10–20% high-potential students
- Drive engagement through:





~ Hackathons, coding contests, and challenges ~ Leaderboards, gamification, and peer cohorts
- Build a strong culture of excellence and competition

Partnerships & Industry Connect

- Collaborate with:

~ Hiring partners and companies ~ External tech/dev communities

~ Alumni and mentors

Performance & Outcomes

- Track key metrics:

~ Student performance and engagement ~ Placement and internship conversions

~ Competition participation and wins

- Build dashboards and continuously optimize the program

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with: Academics, Career services & branding teams
- Ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 3–7 years of experience in Program Management, EdTech, Community, Partnerships, or K12 segment
- Proven ability to build and scale programs (0→1 or 1→10) with strong execution ownership
- Expertise in program design & execution, managing end-to-end lifecycle from planning to rollout
- Solid stakeholder and partnership management skills across internal and external teams
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights to improve program outcomes
- Ability to drive student/community engagement with GTM thinking for internal adoption and scale

Good to Have

- Experience with student communities / campus programs
- Exposure to coding culture, hackathons, or developer ecosystems
- Understanding of Gen-Z engagement and motivation
