Profile- Production Manager

Experience- 4-5 years ctc- 5-6 LPA

Working days: 6 days working 10am - 7pm

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage our manufacturing operations for sustainable lighting products. This role is critical in ensuring efficient production planning, quality consistency, cost control, and timely delivery while building and leading a strong production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute detailed production plans and schedules to meet business and customer requirements.
- Ensure on-time production and dispatch while maintaining quality standards.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the production team.
- Set clear performance expectations and drive accountability.
- Quality Control
- Implement and monitor quality control processes across production stages.
- Identify defects, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with QA and design teams.
- Inventory & Vendor Coordination
- Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels.
- Work closely with Procurement and vendors to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Cost & Efficiency Management
- Track production costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Improve productivity through process improvements, lean practices, and automation where possible.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Drive standard operating procedures (SOPs) across production units.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and conduct regular safety training.




- Maintain compliance with statutory and internal production guidelines.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate production records, MIS, and dashboards.
- Share regular production, quality, and efficiency reports with senior management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Design, Merchandising, Procurement, and Sales teams to align production with market demand and product launches.

Qualifications & Skills

- Proven experience in production management, preferably in home décor, lighting, furniture, or related manufacturing industries
- Solid leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with production planning, scheduling, and quality control
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization
- Strong understanding of vendor management and cost control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, design-led manufacturing environment
