About the Role

DJ Infra Mart is developing an organized Construction & Home Improvement marketplace with a strong network of brands, dealers, distributors and service providers.

We are looking for a Procurement & Vendor Management professional who can identify reliable suppliers, source products/services at competitive commercial terms and build a dependable vendor ecosystem.

The ideal candidate should have strong commercial understanding, negotiation skills and knowledge of construction/building material procurement.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate and onboard suitable vendors, suppliers, dealers and distributors.
- Source construction and home improvement products/services as per business requirements.
- Obtain and compare RFQs, quotations, pricing and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate product pricing, discounts, payment terms, credit periods, delivery terms and other commercial conditions.
- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database.
- Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, availability, delivery capability, reliability and service.
- Coordinate purchase requirements with Sales, Store Operations, Warehouse and Accounts teams.
- Prepare and manage purchase documentation, quotations, purchase orders and vendor records.
- Monitor order status, delivery schedules and vendor commitments.
- Resolve issues related to price, quality, quantity, delivery and commercial terms.




- Regularly review vendor performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Develop alternative vendors and sources to reduce dependency and improve competitiveness.
- Maintain professional and transparent relationships with vendors.
- Ensure procurement decisions are aligned with company policies and business objectives.

Ideal Candidate

- 2–7 years of experience in Procurement, Purchase, Sourcing or Vendor Management.
- Experience in construction materials, building materials, hardware, electrical, plumbing, sanitary ware, tiles, paints, steel, cement, plywood, interiors or home improvement products will be preferred.
- Solid vendor network will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of quotation comparison, commercial negotiation, payment terms and vendor evaluation.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Experience with ERP/Purchase software will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Should be comfortable working with multiple vendors and categories.
