Sequoia Print is looking for a Printing Production Assistant to join our production team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build a career in the printing and packaging industry and learn how print jobs move from planning to final production.
We are open to freshers as well as candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
What You Will Work On
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of day-to-day print jobs
- Following jobs through different stages of production
- Keeping production records and job status updated
- Coordinating with different departments to ensure work moves on schedule
- Checking job requirements before and during production
- Following up on pending jobs and production timelines
- Assisting with quality checks and ensuring job specifications are followed
- Maintaining organised records of production activities
- Learning and following production processes, quality standards and internal systems
- Supporting the production team in resolving day-to-day job-related issues
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of printing and production processes
- Ability to read and understand job specifications
- Good numerical and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain accurate production records
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to follow processes and work systematically
- Comfortable working in a production and factory workplace
Preferred Skills
- Diploma / degree in Printing Technology, Printing Engineering, Packaging Technology or a related field
- Internship or previous work experience in a printing press or packaging company
- Understanding of offset printing and post-press processes
- Basic knowledge of paper, paperboard and other printing materials
- Exposure to production planning or quality control
- Familiarity with MIS, ERP or production-tracking software

EmploymentThe position will begin with a 3-month probation period, with the opportunity to move into a permanent full-time role based on performance.
