About Our Client The client is a well-established global organisation with a strong technology and operations footprint. It invests heavily in enterprise technology, cloud platforms, automation, security, and next-generation AI capabilities to support large-scale business operations and digital transformation initiatives.

- Lead enterprise cloud infrastructure, technology operations, and platform engineering functions across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.

- Ensure high availability, reliability, security, and performance of business-critical technology services.

- Drive cloud transformation, infrastructure modernisation, and automation initiatives across the organisation.

- Establish and maintain governance, compliance, ITIL processes, and operational excellence frameworks.

- Manage large technical teams, providing leadership, mentoring, and strategic direction.

- Own vendor relationships, partner governance, contract management, and service reviews.

- Drive FinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimisation, budgeting, and resource planning.

- Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, security controls, and risk management programmes.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, observability, and AIOps capabilities to improve operational efficiency.





- Collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders to define strategy, roadmaps, and investment priorities.

The Successful Applicant

- 14-18+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, enterprise technology operations, or platform engineering leadership roles.

- Strong expertise in Azure, AWS, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

- Proven experience leading large-scale cloud transformation and infrastructure modernisation programmes.

- Strong understanding of FinOps, cloud governance, cost optimisation, and budget management.

- Experience managing 24x7 technology operations, service delivery, and operational excellence.

- Hands-on knowledge of automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), DevOps, and observability tools.

- Robust stakeholder, vendor, and team management experience, including leading large technical teams.

- Familiarity with ITIL processes, security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

- Exposure to AI infrastructure, AIOps, or emerging AI technologies is an advantage.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; ITIL and cloud certifications preferred.
