Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and improve painting processes for ABS, aluminium, steel and carbon fibre parts.
- Handle liquid painting, powder coating, pretreatment and electro deposition processes.
- Prepare specifications for recent paint shop equipment, fixtures, jigs and related facilities.
- Troubleshoot paint application, electro coating and powder coating issues.
- Carry out paint repair activities on ABS, steel and aluminium parts.
- Support process and facility re-engineering to achieve QCD targets.
- Identify and implement projects for painting process improvement and cost savings.
- Support process optimisation and continuous improvement activities in the paint shop.
- Prepare and maintain process and quality documentation as per TS16949 / IATF 16949 requirements.
