Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Manager with strong hands-on expertise in Network Detection & Response (NDR), Palo Alto Networks, Network Security Architecture, Firewall Security, Threat Detection, and Incident Response .

The candidate will be responsible for leading network security initiatives, NDR implementation, Palo Alto firewall operations, security architecture, threat monitoring, incident response, and managing a team of network security engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end implementation, deployment, and optimization of NDR solutions across enterprise network environments.
- Design and implement Network Detection & Response (NDR) architecture for real-time network traffic monitoring and threat detection.
- Configure and manage Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) , including security policies, NAT, VPN, URL Filtering, App-ID, User-ID, Threat Prevention, and WildFire.
- Manage and optimize Palo Alto Panorama for centralized firewall administration and policy management.
- Integrate NDR platforms with Palo Alto, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other security technologies .
- Develop network security monitoring and detection strategies for identifying lateral movement, C2 communication, malware, anomalous traffic, and advanced threats .
- Lead network security incident investigation, containment, and remediation activities.
- Review and improve firewall rules, security policies, segmentation, and access controls.




- Drive network security architecture, Zero Trust, network segmentation, and defense-in-depth initiatives.
- Establish and maintain security standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
- Monitor network security posture and identify security gaps, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with SOC, Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
- Lead security projects from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, and production rollout .
- Perform security technology evaluations, PoCs, and vendor assessments.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to Network Security engineers.
- Manage escalations related to complex firewall, NDR, network security, and security incident issues.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Track security KPIs, SLA adherence, incident trends, and operational performance.

Required Technical Skills NDR / Network Detection & Response
- Strong experience in NDR implementation and deployment .
- Network traffic analysis and threat detection.
- IDS/IPS and behavioral analytics.
- Network packet analysis and anomaly detection.
- Threat hunting and detection engineering.
- Experience with NDR platforms such as Vectra AI, Darktrace, ExtraHop, Corelight, or equivalent .

Palo Alto Networks
- Solid hands-on experience with Palo Alto NGFW .
- Palo Alto Panorama .
- Security Policies, NAT, Zones, Virtual Routers.
- App-ID, User-ID, URL Filtering.
- Threat Prevention, WildFire, Anti-Spyware and Vulnerability Protection.
- GlobalProtect VPN.
- Firewall upgrades, migration, troubleshooting, and optimization
