Job Summary

The Interim Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for driving secondary sales, expanding retail coverage, developing the assigned territory, and increasing market penetration for MYK’s building material products.

Key Responsibilities

- Retailer Visits: Regularly visit and interact with retailers across the assigned territory to understand their requirements and drive product sales.

- Sales Target Achievement: Achieve assigned monthly sales and distribution targets through effective territory management and market coverage.

- New Retailer Acquisition: Identify and onboard new retailers to expand product availability and strengthen market presence.

- Product Range Expansion: Increase the number of products/SKUs sold through existing retailers by promoting relevant product offerings.

- Dealer & Distributor Coordination: Maintain strong relationships with retailers, dealers, and distributors, address their concerns, communicate schemes, and ensure smooth product availability.

- Secondary Sales: Drive product movement from distributors/dealers to retailers and ensure consistent market sales.

- Market Development: Identify current business opportunities and increase product penetration within the assigned territory.





- Promotional Activities: Support and execute in-store promotions, product displays, schemes, and other marketing activities to improve product visibility and sales.

- Market Feedback: Gather information on competitor activities, pricing, customer requirements, and market trends and share insights with the team.

- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, dealers, distributors, and other channel partners.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience in field sales, territory sales, dealer/distributor sales, or retail sales.

- Experience in building materials, construction chemicals, tiles, adhesives, waterproofing, flooring, paints, or related industries preferred.

- Strong understanding of secondary sales and channel management.

- Good dealer/retailer/distributor handling skills.

- Ability to acquire new retailers and expand market coverage.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Target-oriented with the ability to work independently in the field.

- Willingness to undertake regular market travel within the assigned territory.
