What would you do?

- You own the platform s data supply chain: how source data lands, is refined, and is aggregated into the governed figures every downstream experience depends on. This is the foundation the rest of the platform stands on, and it is in from the proof of concept.
- You build the connectors that pull from Channel 2 sources such as SharePoint, databases, email and APIs, the refine and structured-store layers,



and the snapshot and freeze mechanism that keeps closed periods from drifting when source records change later.
- You build the deterministic aggregation engine in Python and pandas so that every number the platform reports is computed here, once, correctly, and can be reconciled. What are we looking for?
- Solid data engineering background across ingestion, transformation and aggregation, in Python and pandas
- ETL and ELT, data pipelines
- Connectors and API integration (SharePoint or Graph, databases, email, REST)
- PostgreSQL, object storage
- Workflow orchestration (Airflow or Cloud Scheduler)
- Data quality and reconciliation Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own the data supply chain: ingestion and landing, refine, structured store, snapshot and freeze
- Build and maintain the deterministic aggregation engine that computes every governed figure in Python and pandas
- Build connectors to Channel 2 sources and manage the intake of new sources as accounts onboard
- Implement data quality checks, reconciliation and exception handling, with a fallback to manual continuity where a cycle cannot complete automatically
- Guarantee that closed periods do not drift, through snapshot and freeze
- Direct the data engineer, set standards and review the work
- Partner with the semantic and BI lead so computed figures map cleanly to the metric registry
